Veep Bawumia Commiserates with Ex-prez Kufuor Over Loss of Wife
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Monday, October 2 visited the residence of former President John Kufuor to commiserate with him on the death of former First Lady, Theresa Kufuor.
The Vice President’s team arrived at about 3:45 pm where they exchanged greetings with the family as well as other high profile figures around.
Among them were; former New Juaben South MP, Mark Assibey Yeboah, Ambassador D K. Osei, former National Security Minister, Francis Poku and other current and former government officials.
He then proceeded to sign the book of condolence.
The late Theresa Kufuor passed away on Sunday, October 1 at her home after battling a prolonged illness. She was aged 88.
