Ghana’s Black Stars will start their journey to play in the next World Cup when they host Madagascar at Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
The two teams have been placed in Group I alongside Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros and Mali.
After failing to get out of the initial hurdle in the the most recent global competition, the West Africa nation will be aiming at making a return to the tournament and prove their doubters wrong.
Madagascar come into the match as underdogs owing to the experience and quality within the Ghana squad, but they cannot be underestimated.
