  • US-based aid group World Central Kitchen confirms seven staff members were killed in a “targeted attack” by the Israeli military and called on it to stop “this indiscriminate killing” in Gaza. Those killed were from Palestine, Australia, Poland, the UK, and a US-Canada citizen.

  • An Iranian official says Israel attacked the Islamic Republic’s consulate building in Damascus, killing several people, including a senior IRGC commander, because the Israeli military had failed to achieve its objectives in Gaza.
  • At least 32,845 Palestinians have been killed and 75,392 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The death toll in Israel from Hamas’s October 7 attack stands at 1,139, with dozens still held captive.
