Katie Price ‘to sell her mucky mansion’ After being declared bankrupt for the second time’
Katie Price is reportedly planning to sell her mucky mansion so she can buy her ‘dream home’ in Yorkshire.
The former glamour model, 45, currently lives near Horsham, West Sussex, but is said to be wanting to move 230 miles north after being declared bankrupt for a second time.
She apparently has her sights set on a £2.5million mansion in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
The property is said to feature six bedrooms, four bathrooms, an indoor swimming pool, a cinema room, a spacious triple garage, with the home overlooking a lush golf course.
Reality star Katie has struggled in her Sussex home after it fell into disrepair and even made a Channel 4 documentary series about the vandalised and uninhabitable property in 2022 called Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion.
It is understood her new boyfriend, former Married At First Sight UK groom JJ Slater, 31, is keen to sell his Essex home and move to Yorkshire with Katie.
A source told The Sun: ‘Katie is sick of the Mucky Mansion and sees no future there now.
‘She wants to move into her dream home and she reckons this could be it.
‘Quite how it would work given her financial problems is a mystery, but she’s got it in her head this is happening.’
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Katie for comment.
Katie was once worth £45million but was declared bankrupt in 2019 and then for a second time last month as she allegedly owes £762,000 in unpaid tax.
She failed to appear at a court hearing in London to explain why she has not paid any money to HMRC.
A judge at the High Court ruled that she be declared bankrupt after an official from HMRC said she has failed to pay any money owed or responded to any correspondence since the demand was made for the unpaid tax last year.
