Ten individuals suspected of engaging in landguard activities at Adjirigano have been arrested by the East Legon Police.

The suspects, identified as Harry Otu Hesse, Khalid Adnam, Tahiru Yakubu, Awudu Salifu, Michael Laryea, Theophilus Mensah, and Mustapha Awudu, were apprehended during a police operation.

Also taken into custody were Kwetey Aryettey, Salifu Moses, and Ibrahim Musah. Their arrest followed a complaint by Nuumo Borketey Laweh XXXIII, the Gborbu Wulomo, who is one of the landowners affected by the alleged activities of the suspects.

According to the police report, the accused land guards had been harassing clients on property sold for development at Adjirigano.

They allegedly disrupted construction work, confiscating tools and obstructing workers hired to develop the land.

Sources confirmed that the 10 suspects are currently in police custody, have had their statements taken, and have been arraigned.
