Akua Donkor threatens to sue Mahama
At an Inter Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting in Accra on Tuesday, the presidential candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor expressed her unhappiness with what she termed as derogatory comments about her qualifications as a candidate for Election 2024.
She was particularly not happy with former President John Dramani Mahama, the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), whom she said was continually making what she said was derogatory remarks about her qualification.
She has therefore threatened to sue Mr Mahama if such remarks continue.
Speaking at the IPAC meeting, she alleged that Mr Mahama continually makes remarks concerning her candidacy.
“I founded the party [GFP] in 2011 and got it registered in 2012. I formed it myself, I did not take members from any other party. Anytime he [Mahama] speaks, he speaks against me. I followed the instructions of the EC and qualified to contest so I deserve to be here,” she said.
