Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has intensified his criticism of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), accusing the government of using financial incentives and other benefits to sway voters instead of prioritizing essential developmental projects.

Speaking to party members at Amoakokrom in the Ahafo Ano South-East Constituency, Ashanti Region, on the second day of his three-day Retail Campaign on Tuesday, November 5, Asiedu Nketiah argued that the NPP’s approach undermines public trust and diverts crucial resources away from long-term infrastructure and social programs that would benefit communities.

He emphasized that such tactics not only erode the electorate’s confidence in the ruling party but also hinder sustainable development efforts that could uplift entire communities.

Asiedu Nketiah urged NDC supporters and community members to vote decisively against the NPP in the upcoming December elections.

He called for a massive turnout to oust the ruling party, asserting that the NDC is committed to genuine development and addressing the real needs of the people.

“The NPP government only comes to our villages to help with infrastructure projects and other benefits when election season is approaching. They turn deaf ears to our problems after the elections.

“They share all kinds of benefits. I ask you, what will these do to you after four years? For us, we embark on projects that benefit all. You will need nothing from us when you can provide for yourselves.”
