Man Utd Open to selling £60m-rated Alejandro Garnacho
Manchester United are open to selling academy product Alejandro Garnacho to Napoli amid PSR concerns.
Sport Italia’s Michele Criscitiello reported, on Sunday, that Napoli have identified Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho as a replacement for Paris Saint-Germain-bound Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The report further claimed that Napoli officials are already in touch with the Red Devils as Antonio Conte has given his green signal for the Argentine’s transfer.
Corriere dello Sport now reports that United could be open to selling the 20-year-old attacker as they have to comply with Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules. Garnacho, being a homegrown player, will earn the Red Devils a pure profit and they have reportedly set an asking price of €70million (£58m/$71m). The transfer fee, however, is open to negotiation.
